Reinstatement & Suspensions

If your Florida driver license has been suspended, revoked, or canceled, the Hendry County Tax Collector’s Office can assist with driver license reinstatement once all requirements from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) have been satisfied.

Suspensions may occur for a variety of reasons, including unpaid traffic fines, failure to maintain insurance, court requirements, or administrative actions. While we do not determine suspensions, we can process reinstatements after clearance has been issued.

What You’ll Need

Traffic tickets must be paid in the traffic court in the county in which the citation was issued.

Certain suspensions can be reinstated online. Visit FLHSMV’s MyDMV Portal for more information.

If you are unsure of the status of your license you can check it here.
